President's Report

I hope everyone has started off 2017 well. For those of you who are interested in pursuing the CSCP certification, our accelerated review course is starting soon on Saturdays beginning March 4th. We are also looking forward to offering a review course for APICS’ newest certification, the Certification in Logistics, Transportation, & Distribution (CLTD) to begin late April.

There are also some changes coming to the APICS CPIM certification, and APICS has released a timeline at the following website: CPIM Timeline. I would encourage all those thinking about pursuing or in the process for pursuing the CPIM to watch the aforementioned webinar.

We have several events coming up, but we are proud to open registration for the Mega Meeting with other organizations – CSCMP, ISM, TCP, and WERC – with keynote speaker Rick Blasgen, President and CEO of CSCMP on “Supply Chain Competitiveness – US State of Logistics-Costs & Trends.”

Lastly, we are looking for your input in the membership survey below and we are beginning to take nominations for our Board of Directors. Please feel free to email any to me.

I look forward to meeting you at one of our upcoming events and I hope you are able to attend the Mega Meeting in March.
